The floral design classes offered by The Connection at The Flower Market include three different types of floral instruction.

Monday evening hands on design classes are structured for both entry-level floral designers and for anyone interested in beginning floral design. The $50 cost includes all flowers and supplies. Because of limited space, reservations are required by the preceding Friday.  Instructor is Virginia Glover, Texas Master Florist, who owns Willow Creations, a wedding and event design company. Topics rotate and vary according to student interest. Fun, free demonstration classes, such Pumpkin Florals and Holiday Wreaths,  are scheduled throughout the year. Those demonstration classes are listed on our calendar, which is updated monthly.

                 Wedding design classes scheduled at The Flower Market in Fort Worth  

The Flower Market in Fort Worth offers wedding classes specifically for anyone interested in designing their own wedding flowers. Classes are held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday afternoons, cost $55 , and cover hand-tied bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and centerpieces. These hands-on design classes are limited to 10 students and registration is required. 

The 2012 class dates are:  Jan. 8 & 22, Feb. 5 & 19, March 4 & 18, April 1 & 15, May 6 & 20, June 3 & 24, July 8 & 22, Aug. 5 & 19, Sept. 9 & 23, Oct. 7 & 21, Nov. 4 & 18, Dec. 2 & 9.

Registration is required, and the class is limited.
